Most parts can be finished on our high-speed multi-spindle machines, avoiding secondary operations. However, when a part requires additional operations, including threading (metric & inch), printing (alpha & numeric), keyway milling, slotting and cross drilling - we're able to complete the job quickly, efficiently, and expertly on-site in our secondary department. We offer Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) machining of shapes and contours, plus milling and turning machines, tool grinders, drilling, and tapping machines.
Finishing
Fischer parts come to you completely finished and ready for assembly. Every part is thoroughly cleaned and degreased before shipping. We remove slivers from knurls, break sharp corners with chamfers and corner breaks, and ensure the parts are free of cut-off burrs.
We have finishes for every standard or special parts need, including bright nickel, cadmium, zinc, chrome, and other variations. Quality control continues through the finishing process, with a re-check of part dimensions after plating. Other finishes are also available, along with polishing, heat-treating and special packaging.
